In an interview that Morrissey gave four years ago, the interviewer asked him if perhaps he possess some object very valued by him, but that would lack value for a thief and Morrissey answered: “Well, I have several books signed by Oscar Wilde, for example. I suppose that the typical thief, some fan of hip-hop, would not bother to steal them… What is clear is that he would not start to weep on having seen them, that is what I do.”
